Winteringham Church Garden Fete at Scarbrough House 14th July 2007

For hundreds of years, Winteringham celebrated a fair on 14th July, a tradition that was still kept up within living memory, so the Church Garden Fete followed that long tradition.

The children of the village school with their traditional country dancing, accompanied by live music!

100 years and one day after Winteringham Station opened, Ken Jacobs (above, and bottom) brought along the new Winteringham Camera Club’s Exhibition marking the event.
 

Fair’s Fare! Local produce is always popular.
